“Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials – Implementation of the PN-EN IS0 3834.” In early January, Base Group has signed an agreement for the development and implementation of the quality system in welding according to EN ISO 3834-2 standard.
Standards of the ISO 3834 series are designed for organizations that use welding processes in manufacturing. These include quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials. For the purposes of certification there are three standards:
PN-EN ISO 3834-2 containing full requirements of quality,
PN-EN ISO 3834-3 contains standard requirements of quality,
PN-EN ISO 3834-4 with basic quality requirements.
The implementation and certification of quality management system ISO 3834 provides the following benefits:
demonstration of competence in the production of welded products,
facilitate compliance with the requirements laid down in Pressure Directive 97/23/EC,
facilitate the certification of production of metal structures PN-EN 1090-1,
facilitate the certification of welding performed on EN 15085 rail vehicles
improve the quality of welded products,
increased credibility with customers,
ensuring that the welding processes are performed in an efficient manner,
provide oversight of product from the design stage,
understanding the sources of potential difficulties in manufacturing a product and their supervision.
