This week Base Group has signed an agreement for the development and implementation of an environmental management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001:2004 and its integration with ISO 9001:2008.
ISO 14001 is the internationally recognized standard for environmental management systems. This standard was developed to define the rules of the delicate balance between preserving profitability and minimizing impact on the environment. Organizations applying the assumptions of the standard can achieve both of these goals through the development of policy and environmental objectives, taking into account the requirements under the law, and information about significant environmental impacts.
