Sopot International Rotary Club, which member is President of the Board Ms. Barbara Sergot-Golędzinowska, made a donation to Foundation with Pump – Help Children with Leukemia for the purchase of an infusion pump for the Division of Pediatric Hematology, University Clinical Centre in Gdansk.
At the 24-seat ward are treated young patients from all over Pomerania, often all beds are occupied. Necessary equipment wears out very quickly, but unfortunately the same hospital does not have the resources to purchase new.
“Foundation with Pump – Help Children with Leukemia ” supports the Division of Pediatric Hematology, University Clinical Centre in Gdansk, its small patients and their families. Foundation was created by parents, who accompanied or continue to accompany their children in the fight against cancer. During the months of stays at the Division of Hematology, hospital is their house, so it’s important to create the right conditions – this applies not only to ensure modern medical equipment to small patients, but also friendly conditions affecting the comfort of treatment.
