On September 25, 2021, the Base Group team participated in the 4th Dragon Boat Charity Race, organized by the Rotary Club Gdańsk Centrum under the patronage of the President of the City of Gdańsk and the Marshal of the Pomeranian Voivodeship.
Base Group took 2nd place in the 4th Dragon Boat Charity race organised by Rotary Gdansk.
We were also number 1 when it comes to drowning a boat – after the semi-finals run we were so happy to have won that the boat became unstable and the whole crew ended up in the river. The rescue operation was very quick and everybody was safe. After 1 hour we were ready to go for the finals.
We finished the competition by supporting the treatment of children with cancer at the Department of Hematology and Children’s Oncology of the University Clinical Center in Gdańsk.
