On 13-16 November 2013. was held at the Technical University of Lublin organized under the “Engineering Days” intercollegiate designing competition, called “Grow a Crane”.
The participants’ task was to build a real construction tower crane with a height of over two meters and a reach of 1.5 meters. Students had to first design the device, then assemble them, and finally subjected to load test in the laboratory of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Technical University of Lublin.
Base Group was a sponsor and manufacturer of the crane for the team “Niewyboczalni” representing the Technical University of Gdansk.
Our team took second place out of 11 teams participating in the competition.
